Valerian I, 253-260. Antoninianus (Silver, 21 mm, 3.18 g, 12 h), Antiochia, 255. IMP C P LIC VALERIANVS AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Valerian I to right. Rev. PACATORI ORBIS Jupiter seated left, holding patera in his right hand and long scepter in his left; at feet to left, eagle standing left, head to right. Cohen 145. MIR 1562a. RIC 218 corr. ('Viminacium'). A nicely toned example with an expressive, sharply struck portrait. Minor porosity and with light deposits on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
